I’m convinced that Cyber Safety is a whole community responsibility, not just the schools, or the Governments, or parents or the users! It’s simply not good enough to sit smugly in your own cyber safe home with your children wonderfully supervised and protected online, when your friends and your child’s friends are using dangerous apps to talk to you or your kids, or sharing unsuitable content with your child and their friends. You cannot protect your family in isolation, the internet connects us all, the only way to stay entirely safe without taking any responsibility for our friends online, is to disconnect, and I think it’s getting harder and harder to do that.
