Telethon Kids and the Beacon App with Bec Nguyen

My guest today is Bec Nguyen from “Telethon Kids Institute” Project Manager of the “Beacon App” a cyber safety educational app designed to keep parents and carers up to date with trusted, tailored information, to help keep their kids safe online.

Bec Nguyen is a Digital Project Manager with the Health Promotion and Education Research team, overseeing all digital health projects. She is currently project managing CoLab’s Bright Tomorrows App Project and The Beacon App Project.

In todays podcast Bec and I chat about what research Telethon Kids is doing into the effects of technology on our young people and how the Beacon App helps parents keep across technology.
